Maximino Gutierrez owes his lifelong dedication to coffee to his father, from whom he inherited a deep passion for the craft. Raised in a traditional Colombian coffee-growing family, he grew up helping wherever he could on the family farm. His hometown of Rioblanco is infamous in Colombia for its violent past, which forced thousands of people to abandon their land. Despite these challenges, Maximino persevered, and his passion for coffee always prevailed.
