Waterloo Tea - Houjicha Powder

One of the developing crazes in the tea world. Taking Asia by storm we expect Houjicha to be commonplace in UK teahouses and tea cabinets in the very near future.

Our houjicha powder results from roasting and processing high quality sencha tea leaves grown in the Kyoto region - chosen for their balance of strength and subtlety. 

The leaves are sand roasted according to traditional houjicha methods to obtain their signature amber colour, caramel flavour and toasted aroma.

Houjicha powder can be mixed with milk in the form of lattes and in cooking and baking, as well as being used as a traditional tea powder.
